Venezuelan Student Association is a student organization that aims to promote unity among all Venezuelans; to share our culture with the Gainesville population, to guide newly arrived Venezuelan students in their process of cultural, academic, and social adaptation, and to increase the general awareness of current events in Venezuela.

In my role as the Community Manager I oversee all communications between the executive board and the student body. My day to day duties involve creating content, designing all materials used in communications (Flyers, Instagram, Forms, etc.) As my first task in this position I created a brand identity guide which I presented to the rest of the e-board. In my design I wanted to connect our Venezuelan heritage to our identity as students of the University of Florida with a modern look. It was ultimately illustrated by combining a V with the gator head.
